Zapsaný ústav Spolu s vámi vznikl v říjnu 2019 v návaznosti na ukončený projekt Návštěvy POTMĚ. Založili jej zrakově postižení, kteří chtěli dále pokračovat ve službách Návštěvy POTMĚ, tedy v návštěvách seniorů v domácnostech či pečovatelských službách. Vznikl tak sociální podnik, který propojuje pomoc seniorům, jimž chybí kontakt s někým blízkým a náplň volného času, a zaměstnávání nevidomých a slabozrakých.

od první pomoci po kurzy práce s lidmi s demencí. Jsou tak nejen dobrými společníky pro seniory, ale i partnery pro aktivizační pracovníky pečovatelských služeb, jimž pomáhají s přípravou aktivit pro klienty. Zrakově postižení návštěvníci jsou navíc lidé různých profesí (sociální pracovníci, hudebníci, maséři, novináři, pedagogové atd.), takže mohou seniorům otevřít pohled do nejrůznějších oborů, případně jim v určitých životních situacích poradit. Prostřednictvím služby se podařilo propojit svět zrakově postižených se světem seniorů. Obě skupiny se navzájem obohacují. Pro seniory může být setkávání se zrakově handicapovanými lidmi vzpruhou, protože mají pocit, že jejich starosti a zdravotní trápení jsou v porovnání s životem bez zraku menší. Zrakově postižení zase nabízí osamělým seniorům vlídné slovo a aktivizaci, ať už ve formě povídání, procházek, procvičování cizích jazyků či zpěvu.
Tým „Návštěv“ ve své práci hodlá pokračovat a rozvíjet např. službu „Návštěvy po telefonu“, která byla pro seniory spuštěna v době koronavirové karantény a umožnila rozšířit působení na celou Českou republiku. Ještě letos na podzim pracovníci projdou školením krizové intervence, aby byli schopni adekvátně reagovat na telefonáty seniorů, jež se ocitají v těžké životní situaci. Vedle návštěv seniorů nabízí Spolu s vámi, z. ú., také workshopy na téma „Život se zrakovým handicapem“. Uzpůsobené jsou jak pro dětské skupiny (ZŠ, příměstské tábory apod.), tak i pro organizace, které se chtějí naučit adekvátně přistupovat ke zrakově postiženým zákazníkům či klientům.
