Please create a video showing three aspects of your work as a local community leader. The video should be a maximum of 3 minutes long (keep in mind that the Committee is international so if you use your national languages, do not forget to add subtitles).
How you create the video is very much up to you – you can use pictures, text, interviews or record yourself speaking. You can involve other people, too. We are interested in the content of your video – not in the artistic or technical quality. It is important that your video gives us a chance to get to know you, your team and your local community better.
The following questions may help you navigate through the “story”:

How would you describe the local community in which you are working (including its location)?

What binds the community together, what are its boundaries and what divides it? How many people does your community include? Who are the key actors? What are the successes and the challenges that you face in your community? How are you addressing them?
You might also consider these questions:

If you do not feel very comfortable with creating a video, watching these tips may help you out:
Send the video together with other necessary documents to ViabilityNet@nadacevia.cz by WeTransfer. Deadline was April 10, 2018 and it has been extended only for Western European applicants until May 6, 2018 23.00 CET.
Based on our beginners’ experience with creating videos, we have put together a few recommendations for you
– If you prefer, you can send us several shorter videos that sum up to a maximum of 3 minutes.
If you decide to edit and cut your video:
– If you want to create a video using your mobile phone, the easiest way to do it is to record everything at once. You can pause and restart recording – just make sure that instead of actually stopping the recording, you just pause it.
– If you use your mobile phone to record, you will need to convert the .mp4 file. If you would like to cut the video and/or add subtitles and your original files are saved as .mp4, you need to do the following:
– use an on-line converter to change the .mp4 into .avi
(just google it, there are several of them)
– convert the videos into the movie maker
– have fun making changes to the video
– don’t erase your videos until you are finished working on them – they may come in handy
– Check your video right away to make sure the format isn’t upside down – it’s hard to change that later
– When you need to convert a file, it is useful to have a strong Internet connection. In any case assume that the time required to convert a file will be at least double the recorded time.
